The NewBLAST-R™ is a high-pressure, water-blast cleaning system designed to clean sucker rods of all sizes. The NewBLAST-R™ is a single-pass system, whereas the entire sucker rod is cleaned in one pass. The NewBlast-R™ is powered by a heavy-duty triplex pump that supplies pressure to the water-blasting nozzles. All functions are remotely controlled via the operator’s panel. The NewBLAST-R™ includes rod rotating conveyors with loader/unloaders. The NewBLAST-R™ has been designed to provide excellent results and ease of use.

Mode of Operation
The sucker rods is loaded onto the conveyors via the load arms. The operator enables the conveyor, and the sucker rod moves toward the blasting nozzles. The water-blasting nozzle is pneumatic stationary and positioned directly above the sucker rod. The sucker rod passes under the nozzle while spinning the rod at the same time. The cleaned sucker rod passes onto the outbound conveyors and is unloaded by the pneumatic unload arms.
